This one is my only DirectX 9 project and I must say I had a little trouble going through with it.
I struggled quite a bit with it because I couldn’t understand it much at the time. Developping on DirectX is very challenging in my opinion so sadly I didn’t do much on this game.
So the goal of this project was to do a DOOM-like level, so that includes some corridors to walk in, some enemies to fight (only one type in my version) and some activables and collectibles all around the place.
Once again we find some minecraft textures in this game on the walls and for the enemies sprite (it’s an octopus !).
